Evergreen - Customer Service Healthcare
Atento is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative with a strong background in health insurance. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries efficiently, and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of health insurance policies, claims, and benefits. Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with a minimum B2 proficiency in English. This is an onsite position and requires availability to work weekends.
What would you do in this role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries regarding health insurance plans, claims, billing, and coverage options.
- Assist customers in navigating their health insurance benefits, resolving issues, and explaining policy details in a clear and professional manner.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries with efficiency, empathy, and professionalism.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products and services to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
- Process customer requests, including claims submissions, plan changes, and other administrative tasks.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies to maintain compliance.
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM or database.
To become part of our team:
- Proven experience in health insurance (e.g., policy management, claims processing) and customer service.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) at a minimum B2 level in English (both verbal and written).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proficient in using customer service software, CRMs, and standard office tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in healthcare, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Flexibility to work onsite and weekends as required.
